Class Description:
Intro to Economics is a one-semester elective at KIS High School. The course includes units covering fundamentals of economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international and personal finance concepts. Students will compare economics models and perform graphic analysis. They will learn how best to integrate knowledge, understanding, and insights in order to develop applied skills that will help them to orient themselves within the real world of the 21st century. The goal of this course is to prepare students to be effective businesspeople, employees, and consumers.
