- Economics class is over! Please submit any missing assignments by Friday. This webpage will remain in place as a resource for you (my students), and for any teachers who find it. Many of the lessons found here come from public domain teacher resources, and can be recycled again. My original presentation slides and activities are also free to use. :)
Thursday, January 8
- Ms. G is out sick today because yesterday's tickle-in-throat became much worse. Agenda with the substitute is as follows: go over Government Manipulation of the Economy lecture slides, complete reading on Monetary Policy, reading on Fiscal Policy, and Monetary & Fiscal Policy Questions. All this should prepare you for our upcoming final project about economic policies in governments around the world.
- The end of the semester is almost here! If you want to take a make-up quiz, you need to schedule it with me ASAP!
Thursday, December 9
- There will be a quiz over the first two goals of macroeconomics on Monday, December 15. Topics include: growth, recession, inflation, and unemployment.
- Google Data Explorer Assignment is 50% of your quiz grade. It is also due on Monday.

2. Don't forget that Econ Article Assignment #3 is due on Monday.
3. 9th graders who missed class: you are required to take the practice quiz titled "Demand Quiz" on Schoology. Do this before next tuesday the 21st in order to help you prepare for the quiz on that day. Also, read the slides for the class you missed on "Supply". I recommend you complete the assignment called "Supply Worksheet 1", and watch the Khan Academy video about supply curves located here.

- Remember, the google form assignment "Capitalism Hurts" is an in-class assignment. You do NOT need to finish it during Thurs/Fri class, or for homework. We will continue working on it on Monday.

1. Schoology is pretty much functional now. We will not use it as a grade book in this class, but we will use it as a place to keep class materials and to communicate with each other. This website will continue to update nearpod slides and assignments until everyone works out their personal glitches with schoology. If something in your schoology account is not working properly, take it to IT!
